HOW IT WORKS
Standard D2DLink subscriptions provide dealerships with Sunday through Thursday evening parts inventory data collection. This standard collection helps ensure that each business morning at 7am -- Monday through Friday -- parts are posted nationwide on the D2DLink locator.
With D2DLink's Inventory Updating options, a dealership's parts inventory can be updated mid-day or on Saturdays, helping to provide even more up-to-date parts inventory accuracy on the D2DLink parts locator.
Criteria for identifying idle or excess inventory for discounting:
- Mid-day data collection - select the time of day for your supplemental data collection. Times offered include 9am, 10am, 11am, Noon, and 1pm, local dealership time.
- Saturday updates - OEConnection will collect your parts inventory each Friday evening, for updated parts quantities available on Saturday mornings.
- Choose both Mid-day and Saturday updates for the ultimate in parts accuracy.
D2D Plus - Inventory Updating is currently available to parts departments using R&R and ADP DMS types. With these DMS types, the Mid-day and Saturday data collection process is automatic. There are no buttons to remember to push. No interruption in business.
